From: Testing data-centric services using poor quality data: from relational to NoSQL document databases
The approach used for testing services using poor quality data, based on the presence of (i) the service application, which concentrates business logic; (ii) a database server for managing the data and accesses to the data; and (iii) a data access driver which is used by the service application for reading/writing data from/to the database. Data coming from the database is replaced with poor quality data by an instrumented data access driver
