From: Optimal pagination and content mapping for customized magazines
The workflow for the proposed pagination algorithm. An input sequence of content, a set of templates and the desired number of pages are fed to a pagination algorithm that produces an optimal mapping of content to page templates. The content is represented by the linked sequence of boxes in the upper part of the figure, where each piece of content has its type, denoted by the legend in each box.
